Our commitment

Violence prevention & awareness

We use education, culture, and community connection to support healing and prevent violence.

From awareness to community action

Rising South’s violence prevention work centers youth, victims of violence, survivors, and families. Arts and literacy create openings for conversations about trauma, healing, and safer communities.

Dialogue and education

Community conversations and youth engagement address gun violence, domestic violence, conflict resolution, and the conditions that affect safety.

Creative healing

Storytelling, performance, and art invite participants to express their experiences and move from pain toward purpose.

Support and connection

We aim to strengthen mentorship and connect families with educational paths and community resources.
